Trolley Shelter Display
This program offers the UWF community access to the trolley shelter displays as a high profile, yet low cost, public space.
Promote Events or Services on a Trolley Shelter
UWF departments and student organizations have a high profile, big city option to promote events and messages to the UWF community.
Unlike traditional advertising, there is very little cost-per-month for the time a poster is displayed in a UWF trolley shelter. Departments and organizations that would like to participate in the program will be responsible for the cost of printing and installation of the large backlit posters. Non-dated posters can be scheduled more than once to save on printing costs. Business and Auxiliary Services will manage the logistics then charge UWF organizations for the cost of printing and installation.
Business and Auxiliary Services administers the program by scheduling the display space, handling the artwork review process, poster production, installation, and payment.
UWF Trolley Shelter Locations
The UWF trolley system has 20 stops on the campus route; four have covered shelters. Each shelter has a two-sided case for poster displays. The cases are a standard size for urban transit and are lit at night. The shelters are located in the following high-traffic locations:
- Campus Drive in front of Science and Engineering, Building 4
- Campus Drive in front of Village East, Bldg. 910
- Campus Drive in front of Village West, Bldg. 901
- Service Road near Communication Arts, Bldg. 36
