Approved Food Providers

In accordance with the UWF Catering Non-exclusivity Policy, Approved Food Providers should hold a license from the State of Florida

Members of the university community may select the food provider of their choice. Approved Food Providers may only provide food via take-out or delivery, not complete Catering Services as outlined in UWF's definition of catering.

Please refer to the websites below to ensure the vendor of choice is licensed and regulated, thereby providing quality product.

Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation
    (for caterers and seating or take-out type restaurants)

Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Food Safety
    (for grocery stores and “big box” stores such as Publix or Target)

Food Trucks and “side of the road” vendors must be vetted on a case-by-case basis. These vendors may not offer retail operations (sale of items from the vehicle) on the Pensacola campus but may serve food from their vehicles as an approved caterer. Please begin this process as early as possible.
