UWF announces inaugural Leaders in Service Summit

The University of West Florida Police Department will host the inaugural Leaders in Service Summit on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, at the UWF Conference Center on the University’s Pensacola campus. This event will bring together leaders and professionals from law enforcement, fire service, military, public safety and related fields for a day focused on service-driven leadership and collaboration.

Dr. Grier Williams School of Music presents Tu Masters Piano Duo

The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present The Tu Masters Piano Duo, performing “AS ONE: Celebrating Great Piano Duos of the Past” on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026. The concert will be held in the Rolfs Music Hall at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts on the UWF Pensacola campus.

UWF’s Academy of American Civic Republicanism hosts first Summer Institute for Secondary Civics Educators

The University of West Florida’s Academy of American Civic Republicanism recently welcomed middle and high school educators and scholars to campus for its first annual Summer Institute for Civics Educators, funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The institute is an intensive program exploring the principles, history and enduring significance of the American constitutional tradition and civic republicanism.
