UWF to add Entry into Practice Master of Science in Nursing this fall

The University of West Florida Usha Kundu, MD College of Health will launch an Entry into Practice (Direct Entry) Master of Science in Nursing program in Fall 2023. The five-semester, in-person graduate program, which will be offered on UWF’s Pensacola campus and Emerald Coast location, is a direct pathway to the nursing profession for those who have already earned a non-nursing bachelor’s degree.

The University of West Florida has been awarded a $460,000 grant by the Florida Defense Support Task Force to support the training efforts of the Florida Air National Guard and various military units based and operating in and around Florida.

Kugelman Honors Summer Institute 2023: Identity for Rising High School Juniors

The Kugelman Honors Summer Institute 2023: Identity is for rising high school juniors who want to learn more about the Kugelman Honors Program's values, benefits, and opportunities. This free one-week residential program is from July 17 to July 21 at UWF’s Pace Hall. Participants will engage in discussions and high-impact experiences with faculty, staff, students, and community experts. Participants will gain skills in interdisciplinary thinking, professional communication, personal goal-setting, critical thinking, meaningful reflection, note-taking, project management, and more! Application deadline May 19. Apply at uwf.edu/honors.
