Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships

Financial Aid and Scholarships
The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships helps Argonauts with grants, scholarships and loans available to help them complete their UWF degree program affordably.
Virtual Appointments
Need a virtual face-to-face appointment? Argo Central can meet with you virtually to answer your questions about Admissions, Financial Aid and the Registrar's Offices. Walk-in appointments are not currently available.
Document Dropbox
Argo Central has a drop box conveniently located at the front entrance to Building 18-Hopkins Hall. Please feel free to place your Admissions, Financial Aid and Registrar documents in this box. Do not leave cash or check. If you need to drop off a payment, you will do so at the Cashier's Office, Building 20E.
Start With the FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step in the financial aid process. UWF's FAFSA code is 003955.
All students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA annually by their priority deadlines in order to maximize consideration for financial aid. Even if you do not anticipate using financial aid, keep in mind that several grants and scholarships require the results of the FAFSA to determine eligibility.
Financial Aid at UWF
Nearly 70% of UWF students receive financial assistance. UWF awarded more than $100 million in UWF grants, scholarships and loans this academic year.
