Adult Lap & Fitness Swim

Open to those 16 years and older only; ID required to provide proof of age. UWF community and general public may water exercise and lap swim at this time only. No recreational swimming allowed. Hot tub and dry sauna are available. Diving boards are not available during Fitness Swim.

Limited Lap Lanes

Historically, fall semseter is the peak season for local competitive swimming and springboard diving at the high school, middle school, elite, and collegiate level. Promoting the sport includes providing an opportunity for young swimmers and divers to participate in a team setting. Lap swimmers may encounter limited lap lanes available weekdays during 4:00-5:30 PM timeblock.

Parking

Aquatic Center users can park in Parking Lot B, located next to the UWF Water Tower, and Lot J, located next to the tennis courts. All day visitors are required to obtain a Visitor Permit from the Visitors Center, Building 81, or Campus Police, Building 94. Aquatic Center members are required to register their vehicle(s) with Parking Services, B. 20W. Please visit the UWF Parking on Campus Overview page for additional details and locations for obtaining permits.

Locker Rental

Lockers may be rented by pool members and will expire on the same date as their membership. Monthly members purchase lockers for the month, semester members purchase lockers for the semester, and members who purchase 3 semesters may purchase their locker for the same annual membership period. On a semester basis, currently enrolled UWF students may also purchase locker use. Our lockers already have locks built into them so you do not need to bring your own. Daily users are encouraged to leave their valuable items at home. Do not leave belongings in the locker room or valuable items unattended.

Aquatic Center Rules

Please carefully and thoroughly review our rules that apply to usage of the pool, diving areas, and the sauna and whirlpool facilities. Your knowledge of our rules helps us to ensure the complete safety of all participants utilizing the UWF Aquatic Center.
