The Division of Student Affairs (DSA) promotes holistic health and transformational learning experiences that boost academic success and prepare students for meaningful careers. DSA is home to over 25 departments and major programs, more than 120 workforce staff, and over 250 student employees.

I’m Dr. Mary Anderson, a proud University of West Florida alumna, and it is my privilege to serve as Vice President for Student Affairs at UWF.

My journey from student to university leadership reflects what makes this University so special: At UWF, we understand that success after college starts during college—where students make long-lasting friendships, build confidence, discover purpose, and prepare for meaningful lives and careers.

At UWF, Student Affairs helps students find connection, overcome challenges, and discover opportunities they may never have imagined. Those experiences shape students' confidence and ability to succeed long after graduation.

We are committed to helping students graduate with more than a degree. We want them to leave UWF transformed by the experiences and relationships they find here.
