Welcome from the Dean of Students Office

The Dean of Students Office (DSO), part of the Division of Academic Engagement and Student Affairs , serves as an important resource for students, families, administration, and faculty.

The DSO supports both the academic mission of the University of West Florida and the Division of Academic Engagement/ Student Affairs by providing programs, services, resources, and advocacy for the needs and interests of all UWF students.

The Dean of Students Office consists of the following units/functions:

The Dean of Students staff  provides educational opportunities for students to develop appropriate community behaviors and personal values while providing support to students and families with personal or University concerns. The staff will also assist students and families in navigating the administrative processes of the University.
