Academic Misconduct

Submit an Academic Misconduct if a student has violated the UWF BOT Regulation 3030. The charging party can be a faculty member, department chair, college dean or the Provost.

Behaviors for Academic Misconduct include:

• Deceit of any kind
• Harm to individuals or property
• Disorderly, disruptive conduct
• Facilitation of prohibited conduct 
• Misuse of Computers, networks and/or data
• Obstruction of the UWF disciplinary process
• Violation of any law or any State Board of Governors or University Regulation policies.

Submit a Student Conduct Incident Report if a student has violated the UWF Regulation 3.010. For violations of Sexual Harassment or Misconduct, please visit Title IX Programs.

Prohibited Behaviors:

• Cheating
• Academic theft: obtaining materials without authorization
• Plagiarism: representing anything not self generated as your own
• Resubmission of work.
• Fabrication: submitting invested, falsified or inaccurate information
• Bribery
• Misrepresentation: act or omission
