Jessica Coleman

Biography

Jessica serves as the Senior Assistant Director of Competitive Sports. She manages Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs as well as oversees the Outdoor Adventure Coordinator. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from the University of West Florida. Jessica continued her education by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotions at the University of Kentucky while working as an Intramural Sports Graduate Assistant. She began her professional career at the University of Mississippi before coming back to the University of West Florida in 2015. 

Jessica is a member of the UWF Intramural Sports Hall of Fame, was named a Defensive Flag Football All-American and is a three-time National Flag Football Champion. She went on to direct the NIRSA National Flag Football tournament while it was hosted in Pensacola. She is very active within Recreation’s governing body, NIRSA and has volunteered in over 33 regional and national tournaments. In 2017, she was named New Professional of the Year for the Division of Student Affairs.  Jessica is married to Dusty Coleman. She is a mother to two beautiful girls and serves her church, Community Of Christ, faithfully.
