The UWF Libraries are pleased to support nursing mothers by providing the first dedicated places on campus for individuals needing a private space to express breast milk.
The first space is a private room on the third floor of the John C. Pace Library (Building 32) and is open to all faculty, staff, and students. To use the space, one may check out the key using a Nautilus card at the Circulation Desk whenever the Library is open. Anyone wishing to verify whether the room is available or already in use before traveling to the Library may call ahead (850.474.2414 is the phone number for the Circulation Desk). Though the key may be checked out for up to two hours, patrons are asked to return it as soon as they have finished using the room so that others may access this space.
The second space is a multipurpose private room in the Professional Studies Library (Building 86, Room 105). If you're traveling and would like to check on the availability of this room you may contact the PSL staff at 850.474.2438.
