Reservations
Priority for reserving the classroom is given to librarians teaching library instruction sessions and library training. However, the Library Classroom may be reserved by UWF affiliates for one-time use, depending upon availability. Standing orders (recurring requests by the same group) cannot be accommodated. On the day of the reservation, groups should sign in at the Reference/Information Desk.
Student Group Study / Presentation Practice: UWF student groups may reserve the room in advance for academic purposes only. Due to the high demand for library computers during the day, student groups may only reserve the classroom after 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday or after 12:00 pm on Friday, for two hours. The room is not available for reservations on the weekend. The Library Classroom closes when there is not a Reference attendant on duty.
UWF Department and Faculty Requests (Training, etc): UWF Departments (faculty and staff) may reserve the Library Classroom in advance for training and other academic purposes. Requests should be made at least one day before the reservation. Standing orders (recurring requests by the same group or faculty member) cannot be accommodated.
