Meet Our Team
Claire Stewart is the Executive Director of Annual Giving and Institutional Communications for the division of University Advancement and comes to UWF with ten years of marketing, communications and higher education experience. In her role in University Advancement, she acts as a communications conduit for the UWF Historic Trust, UWF Foundation, Inc., WUWF Media, Alumni Relations, Development and the Institutional Communications team.
Jennifer Peck serves as the Director of Branding and Design for Institutional Communications where she is responsible for the visual components of the university’s marketing, communication and branding efforts.
Brittany Sherwood serves as the Director of Strategic and Presidential Communications for Institutional Communications, where she oversees the development and implementation of communication plans, strategies and initiatives that enhance the University’s visibility. In this role, Brittany manages integrated projects, as well as institutional social media and public relations strategies.
Joe Vinson serves as the Associate Director of Digital Media Strategy at the University of West Florida’s Office of Institutional Communications, overseeing the strategic planning and implementation of UWF’s digital presence and supporting the web and photo/video teams in creating multimedia content that tells the university’s story.
Colton Currier serves as Project Manager and Academic Affairs Liaison, where he develops, executes and evaluates communication plans and strategies to advance the University of West Florida.
Lewis Garvin serves as the Assistant Director of Web and Digital Strategies, where he leads the ongoing analysis, strategic planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the University of West Florida's web presence.
Morgan Givens serves as the Photo and Video Manager for the University of West Florida. His photography services at UWF extend to institutional communications, athletics, and much more.
Allison Morgan serves as the Writer and Publicity Manager for Institutional Communications. In this role, she writes and edits communications and marketing materials for the University of West Florida.
Carly Richards serves as the Senior Graphic Designer for Institutional Communications. In this role, she assists in monitoring and maintaining the University's graphic identity through the hands-on development of projects for print, web, mobile, multimedia and interactive digital applications.
Part-Time and Student Team Members
Hannah Bledsoe serves as the Design Assistant for Institutional Communications. In this role, she assists in design services with a primary role of reproducing, maintaining and developing creative concepts to support strategic messaging.
Kaylee Jackson serves as the Communications Assistant for the Office of Institutional Communications. In this role, she assists with the University's social media presence, along with various communication projects.
Daniel serves as the Web Services Assistant for Institutional Communications. In this position, he primarily works with the official University web presence on governance and management, analytical reporting, quality assurance, and accessibility remediation and content posting.
Stephanie serves as writer and editor for Institutional Communications. In this role, she writes and edits communications and marketing materials for the University of West Florida.
