Allison Morgan

Assistant Director of Writing and Publicity

Biography

Allison Morgan serves as the Assistant Director of Writing and Publicity for Institutional Communications. In this role, she writes and edits communications materials for the University of West Florida. She pitches University news to members of the media and connects them with faculty experts who help tell their stories.

Before working at UWF, Allison served as the Protocol Officer in the Public Information Unit at the Escambia County Sheriff's Office. Allison has worked as a news producer for WCTI-TV News in New Bern, North Carolina, WVEC-TV News in Norfolk, Virginia, and WALA-TV News in Mobile, Alabama.

Allison is a passionate communicator who is dedicated to sharing important information to the community she serves. When not working, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband, Jimmy, and their children, Savannah and James.
