James Scott Roby

Biography

Sergeant Scott Roby has been with The University of West Florida Police Department for 12 years. He began in 2013 in the patrol division, became a Corporal in 2016, and transitioned to a patrol Sergeant in 2020. Currently, Roby works in crime prevention and training. His job is to provide effective training to law enforcement officers, to make them more effective at their jobs. Additionally, he helps train the UWF faculty, staff, and students in various crime prevention aspects.
