Attending the Symposium

Location
The Student Scholar Symposium is held on the UWF Main Campus. Poster and art presentations will take place in the UWF Field House while oral presentations will be held in the Argo Athletic Club (adjacent to the Field House).
Symposium Layout

For Presenters
Registration: Registration will begin on Thursday morning. All presenters should pick up a registration packet upon entering the Field House. The packet will contain your name tag, the location for you to set up the poster, and a small gift.
Judging: The judging of posters will begin at 10 AM. Presenters should stay with their poster for the duration of their allotted session (2 hour slot) and be prepared to discuss their research project. Oral presentations and live performance creative works will be scheduled specific times once the final schedule is created. Visual art/models/etc. will be treated similarly to posters and presenters will be expected to remain with their creative works for their designated time slot.
Attire: The dress for the symposium is business casual. Women can wear a dress, skirt or dressy pants suit. Men should wear a shirt with tie and dress pants.
