Register for the OUR Faculty Mentoring Workshop

The Office of Undergraduate Research annually hosts a faculty workshop focusing on student mentoring, typically the week after Spring Finals week.
 
This is for faculty mentoring students in research and other HIPs. Workshop topics include the non-technical aspects of mentoring, including aligning expectations, communication, addressing equity and inclusion, and fostering independence. Workshop participants will build a network of trained mentors so that we can engage, share successes, brainstorm strategies for difficult situations that arise, etc., after the workshop.
 
For Spring 2024, the Office of Undergraduate Research will host a 1-day (in-person) faculty workshop focused on student mentoring on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 (8:30 am to 2:00 pm).  Register to attend using this form.
