SURP 2026
The Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) offers a unique opportunity for both students and faculty to engage in high-impact, dedicated scholarly and creative work: students participate in a paid, immersive research or creative experience for 6 or 12 weeks (up to 20 hours per week) under close faculty guidance, while faculty gain a highly motivated collaborator to ensure consistent progress on their scholarly agenda throughout the summer. This partnership accelerates faculty success and fosters the next generation of UWF researchers across all disciplines; please explore the program details on the SURP website. Faculty are welcome to contact OUR to discuss project ideas and student needs for the upcoming program.
