Awards and Scholarships

Your college education is within reach. If you’ve got what it takes to make a splash, we’ll work with you to help make tuition more affordable.

Maximize Your Award Potential

To maximize award consideration, students are strongly encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and meet the Priority Scholarship Deadline for the semester to which they apply.

Students who complete applications by the Priority Scholarship Deadline will receive first consideration for merit-based scholarships. The application is complete once all applicable test scores and transcripts are received by UWF.

The FAFSA is required for some scholarships and determines Pell Grant eligibility, one of the qualifications for the Argo 30 Guarantee. The Argo 30 Guarantee covers tuition and mandatory fees that are not covered by grants and scholarships.
