Keep track of your timeline for your semester of entry to ensure you don't miss important deadlines.


Deadline Updates

The Summer and Fall 2025 deadlines have been updated as of July 24, 2024.

Freshman Admissions

  • ASAP: Submit FAFSA to UWF. UWF's school code is 003955.
  • Oct. 15: Admissions decisions released, rolling thereafter.
  • Dec. 1: Application/Scholarship Priority Deadline.
  • Dec. 2: Orientation registration opens.
  • March: Housing contracts open.
  • April 1: Final application deadline.
  • May 1: Confirmation deadline to accept your offer of admission.
  • May 12: First day of classes (Parts of Term 1, 2, 10, and 96). Please note that first-time-in-college students starting in the summer cannot begin terms that start May 12.
  • June 16: First day of classes (Part of Term 4).
  • June 23: First day of classes (Part of Term 90).
  • June 25: First day of classes (Part of Term 3).

  • Dec. 1: Estimated date the 2025-2026 FAFSA opens. UWF's school code is 003955.
  • Oct. 15: Admissions decisions begin, rolling thereafter.

  • Dec. 2: Orientation registration opens.
  • Feb. 3: Housing contracts open (will close May 1, or sooner if capacity is reached).
  • March 15: Submit FAFSA and complete all financial aid requirements. UWF's school code is 003955.
  • April 1: Final deadline to submit an application (will close sooner if capacity is reached).
  • May 1: Deadline to Confirm and register for New Student Orientation.
  • May 1: Estimated deadline for new-student housing contracts (will close sooner if capacity is reached).
  • May: Class registration begins.
  • Aug. 25: First day of classes (Parts of Term 1 and 2)
  • Oct. 20: First day of classes (Part of Term 3)
