Mr. Taekyoung "Shawn" Kim earned his Master of Science in Mathematics with specialization in Mathematics Education at Oklahoma State University and he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with secondary teaching licensure at Iowa State University.

Dr. Kuiyuan Li, a Distinguished University Professor, has a Ph.D. in Mathematics. Dr. Li was awarded the Distinguished University Professor designation largely at the unanimous recognition of the faculty in the Mathematics. Dr. Li is the Dean of graduate school.

Dr. Shusen Pu is an Assistant Professor. He received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Case Western Reserve University in 2020. Before joining UWF in 2022, Dr. Pu worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Vanderbilt University.

Mrs. Rex is a proud alumnus of the University of West Florida where she received her BS in Mathematics in Teaching in 2009 and MS in Mathematical Sciences in 2011.
