Dr. Eman El-Sheikh is Associate Vice President at the University of West Florida. She leads the Center for Cybersecurity and is also a Professor of Computer Science.

Dr. Xingang Fang received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Emory University and has worked as a researcher and teacher for many years. He is currently a lecturer at UWF and a Computer Science Ph.D. candidate at Florida State University.

Dr. Evorell Fridge is an Instructor of Computer Science, teaching courses in software engineering, web and mobile application development, and the capstone course.

Dr. Brian Jalaian, an Associate Professor (ISR) and a research scientist (IHMC), is interested in the research of robust machine learning, uncertainty quantification for machine learning, deep learning, AI safety and security, AI assurance, optimization and network science.

Dr. Shashi Bhushan Jha, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Dr. Bernd Owsnicki-Klewe, a Lecturer, has written in-depth books about algorithms, data structures and artificial intelligence.

Anthony Pinto, a Lecturer, teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Computer Science, CyberSecurity and Software Engineering. Anthony is the Program Coordinator for the BS in Cyber Security program.

Yuanqi Xie, a lecturer in Computer Science, holds M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University and Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. She teaches discrete structures and program design at UWF, with research interests in deep learning and neuroscience.
