Biography

Dr. Yu, Department Chair of Cybersecurity, received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nanjing University in China and his research interests include AI for security, trustworthy AI, systems security, cloud computing security, and privacy. He has worked on a range of security issues, such as privacy protection in cloud computing, self-healing problems, and protection of applications against untrusted operating systems. His research has been supported by major funding agencies such as the National Science Foundation and Army Research Office, and he has served on numerous conference program committees. He has also organized several international conferences and workshops. He is a member of IEEE and ACM.
