Dean's Challenge Ping Pong Tournament

The UWF Commons held the inaugural Dean's Challenge Ping Pong Tournament on August 27 2022. Several challengers battled Dean of Students, Dr. Mary Anderson, on one of the new custom tables, while students simultaneously competed with each other to determine a winner on another table. The tournament was created to bring attention to the opening of the Galley Game Room. Food and drinks were provided by Aramark.

The updated gaming space has been repainted and includes:

• Two custom ping pong tables
• Two pool tables
• Three video gaming cabinets loaded with Xbox and Switch consoles
• Pinball
• Air hockey
• Golden Tee Golf
• Foosball table
• An arcade-style cabinet game that includes MS. Pac-Man. Galaga and other retro games
