Involvement Opportunities
Join the Commuter Student Association to meet other commuter students and get involved on campus. The CSA is a registered student organization with a board of directors and membership composed of commuter students. This organization plans events and activities and provides support for commuting students’ college experience.
The Commuter Assistant Program pairs first-year and transfer students with an experienced student-leader Commuter Assistant to support their transition to UWF. Through campus-wide events, informal meet-ups and one-on-one support, assistants will work to ensure commuter and transfer students are successful. Working closely with Commuter Student Services, assistants provide support and services that will engage and improve commuter and transfer student’s college experience.
Interested in becoming a Commuter Assistant? Contact Commuter Student Services at 850.474.3132 or commuter@uwf.edu.
