Want to leave your mark on UWF? Becoming a member of the Homecoming Court is perfect for you! Homecoming Court is open to students that have been nominated by their department, program, or organizations as outstanding examples of what it means to be an Argonaut. Homecoming wants to create an inclusive environment for all students, so this year we proudly introduce Homecoming Royalty. Twelve of our most dedicated Argonauts will take part in all the Homecoming festivities and help spread their love for UWF to fellow students. The winners will be announced at the Homecoming Football Halftime Show on Saturday, October 16th!
The Golden Fleece Challenge is an intense but good-hearted competition between teams of students throughout Homecoming week. Each team will compete in challenges and participate in events to rack up points in hopes to take home the winning title. Winners of GFC will be announced at the Homecoming Football Game Halftime Show on October 16th! Teams are open to all student organizations that are in good standing with the university. So grab your friends, join GFC, and let the best team win!
Homecoming loves our volunteers! Homecoming Captains is our very own volunteer program that allows students to not only get involved on campus but also gives students the behind-the-scenes experience of how Homecoming is created! If you want to get involved, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Whether you have a busy schedule or nothing on your plate, Homecoming works with you to make it happen! You won’t regret it!
Hello! My name is Darby Drapeau and I am this year’s Homecoming Executive Director. I can’t wait to show our student body what Homecoming has planned for them. I grew up in Tallahassee and moved to Pensacola to attend UWF. I can easily say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I fell in love with this town and our university. I take great pride in being an Argo. I use that pride to fuel my passion behind Homecoming, as my team and I create memorable and exciting events for our peers
Hey ya'll my name is Garrett Barnes and I'm so excited to be this year's Involvement Director. This is my third year here at UWF majoring in Finance with a minor in Marketing. I am super excited for Homecoming this year especially with this being my first year on the Executive Board. I can't wait to bring together all our UWF Pride and celebrate what it means to be an Argo together!
My name is Elena Patterson and I am a junior majoring in Global Marketing with a minor in Digital Marketing. I'm from Fort Walton Beach, FL and I grew up there! I came to UWF on a singing scholarship with the University Singers, but decided to continue my education here after joining organizations like Homecoming and Student Government. I have a passion for Marketing and meeting new people through it! I can't wait to celebrate Homecoming this year and watch it come to life!
Hello! I am Roddrea Allen, the Homecoming Events Director! As of now, I have stayed in about 6 different states for at least 2 years. It is evident that I love to stay active, travel, and gain new experiences. (What better way to do that other than joining Homecoming!?) Therefore, it is an honor to be able to serve on the Homecoming executive board and create new memories in the process. I cannot wait to see what this semester brings!!!
Hi, I’m Heidi Hinson, and I’m one of this year's event directors! I am a sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice! I am from this small town called High Springs. Coming in last year with Covid, I was wondering how to get involved, did some looking around, and ended up in Homecoming, a sorority, and other clubs! My biggest advice to anyone would be to get involved in some form! I’m so excited to see what the future holds for school and myself!
