Dr. Shauna Maciel is Department Chair and instructor in the MLS department. She teaches immunohematology, immunohematology lab, immunodiagnostic, immunodiagnostics lab, urinalysis and body fluids, urinalysis and body fluids lab, hemostasis and coagulation lab, and special clinical topics.

Evan Harris is the program coordinator for the MLT to MLS track of the Medical Laboratory Science Department. Evan reviews student applications, tracks and establishes affiliation agreements with hospital laboratories for students, and tracks and reports student metrics.

Adriana Helldoerfer is the clinical site coordinator in the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department in the College. She is the liaison between the university and the clinical sites and is responsible for preparing students, evaluating placements, and the clinical curriculum.
