Biography

Evan Harris is the program coordinator for the MLT to MLS track of the Medical Laboratory Science Department. He is responsible for reviewing student applications, tracking and establishing affiliation agreements with hospital laboratories for students in all tracks of the program, and tracking and reporting student metrics. He received his bachelor's degree in Psychology and master's degree in Applied Experimental Psychology from the University of West Florida. He has conducted research on the topics of feeding behaviors, social media, neuropsychology, and Stroop tests. He has extensive experience in data analytics utilizing SPSS, R, and MATLAB, as well as program and task design through E-Prime. He also works as a data analyst for the quality assurance department of Ascension Medical Group and has done extensive data collection and reporting of Covid-19 data for the Florida Department of Health.
