Biography

Jenny Paige Ford is a Faculty Member within the Usha Kundu College of Health’s Medical Laboratory Sciences Department. Within the MLS department, she serves as the certificate coordinator for the categorical MLS tracks and instructs undergraduate courses including, Hemostasis and Thrombosis, Fundamentals of Microbiology, Hematology and Clinical Chemistry.

Ms. Ford has completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Rutgers University. Prior to this, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of West Florida. 

Ms. Ford has worked in higher education since 2016 and has significant experience in hospital and laboratory quality and patient safety. She works with Ascension Medical Group as their Regional Laboratory Quality Manager, where she champions patient safety measures and facilitates changes with system wide processes to ensure regulatory readiness and patient centered care across the gulf coast. 

She has been recognized by the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) as the recipient of the Key to the Future Award (2017) and one of the most influential 40 Voices under 40 (2020). She was also presented with the University of West Florida Outstanding Young Alumnus Award (2020) and featured in Marquis Who’s Who in America in 2022.
