1098-T Tax Benefit Form
The IRS requires the University to provide Form 1098-T to eligible students. This form reports the amount of qualified tuition and related expenses paid during the tax year, excluding health and transportation fees. It also includes the total amount of scholarships, grants, employer-sponsored tuition assistance, and VA education benefits received. Loan amounts are not reported on the 1098-T.
Form 1098-T becomes available during the last week of January for the prior tax year and is accessed through the student's Transact account.
