BankMobile (Formerly Higher One)

UWF has contracted with BankMobile to handle processing of all financial aid disbursement and refunds (with the exception of credit card payments). When you register for classes for the first time, you will receive a refund selection kit in the mail. It is the responsibility of each student to keep their current address updated with the Office of the Registrar. Address changes can be made in person or in MyUWF. You must use the refund selection kit/personal code to access the BankMobile system online and activate your account by selecting one of the options below.

Do not discard the refund selection kit even if you do not immediately select a refund preference. For additional information, contact Student Accounts during normal business hours or BankMobile Customer Service at (877) 327-9515 or (800) 815-1670.

Students have two options for refunds:

  1. Financial aid (after University charges are deducted) will be direct deposited to an existing savings or checking account of the student's choice by providing this information to BankMobile.
  2. Financial aid (after University charges are deducted) will be deposited to the student's BankMobile account. BankMobile Vibe is a checking account that offers the power to bank anywhere, anytime. With this option, students will receive a temporary virtual debit MasterCard until the physical card is mailed. Students will be able to use their BankMobile Vibe debit card anywhere MasterCard is accepted. There is no monthly fee for students.

If you selected the BankMobile Vibe debit card, you have fee-free access to your funds through the Allpoint ATM Network nationwide. Common locations include Target, CVS, and Walgreens. Please access the ATM locator to find a location near you.
