Meet the Staff LEAD Class of 2023-2024
Olivia Ashcraft serves as a Design and Communication Coordinator in the Division of Academic Engagement and Student Affairs’ Office of Design and Communication. In this role, she provides design assistance to the division and its offices through thoughtful and effective marketing materials.
Olivia is a third-generation alumna of UWF and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Art, Specialization in Graphic Design.
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys video gaming, crafting, creating digital illustrations and spending time with family and friends.
Anhar Bekhet is the Assistant Dean of Students overseeing Student Rights and Responsibilities. She has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UWF, a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL) and is a doctoral candidate in Higher Education Leadership at UL. She has a background in counseling and student advocacy. Anhar loves spending quality time with her family, cooking and traveling.
Tiffany Braun is the Assistant Director of Operations and Budget within Enrollment Affairs. In her current role, she serves as the unit's Business Manager, Argo Central manager, and the Dual Enrollment Program Manager. She enjoys getting the opportunity to help so many different individuals. Tiffany joined UWF in 2012 as an OPS Office Assistant in the College of Education and Professional Studies. In 2017 she received her MSA, graduating along colleagues and peers. On her down time, she enjoys spending time with her family on the water, kayaking, hiking, sewing, and being crafty.
Michael Cochran is the Laboratory Manager for Chemistry and Biology. Since the construction of the new Laboratory Sciences Annex building, he has also assisted with facilities related issues and computer related issues in the college. He is in charge of ensuring both research and teaching classes and labs function and that departmental instrumentation remains operational. He has been with the University since he graduated from UWF with a Chemistry degree 15 years ago. His hobbies include both listening to and producing music.
Nadya Collins joined UWF’s Office of Institutional Research (IR) in 2017. She began as a Software Applications Engineer and was recently promoted to her current position as Assistant Director. Her diligence with tasks, willingness to help and overall pleasant demeanor adds to the success of the IR office. Prior to UWF, Nadya worked for the Florida State University Board of Governors as a Data Administration Consultant. This position greatly increased her contribution to the IR Office. She enjoys nature, hanging out with friends, going on adventures and a good laugh.
Kimberlee Glover is an Academic Advisor with the Usha Kunda, MD College of Health. She has been in this role twice with UWF. First time was 2017-2019 and returned to UWF in 2021. She advises undergraduate PreBSN, BSN, and Public Health students. She also advises graduate students in the Master's of Public Health program. She loves advising students and helping them reach their educational goals. Kimberlee enjoys relaxing on the beach, live music, and visiting her three children, who live in California, Oregon, and Indiana.
Brett Haskell is the current Clinical Placement Coordinator for the Usha Kundu, MD, College of Health's School of Nursing. He began working at UWF in the Summer of 2018 as a GIS Coordinator with the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Before coming to UWF, Brett spent 8 years as a television news producer in Panama City and Pensacola. Brett is responsible for outreach to clinical preceptors for MSN Family Nurse Practitioner students. He uses his background in communication to build relationships with area health professionals. He enjoys the outdoors and kayaking in his free time.
Amber Hudson joined the UWF family in 2020 as the Graduate Assistant for the Student Accessibility Resources office while pursuing her master’s degree in College Student Affairs Administration. Upon completion of her degree, she became the Testing Coordinator. Amber is now an Academic Support Coordinator II for Tutoring and Learning Resources and oversees the tutoring and testing programs. She is driven by student connection and success. When she is not on campus, she is paddle boarding with her family.
As Camps and Community Outreach Coordinator, Claire Minneman works with Explore Camps to plan, prepare, and run over 60 week-long day camps for 1st-12th graders each year. She is involved in each step, from creating new camp themes and developing curriculum to ensuring each camp day is successful and everything in between. She also manages and facilitates several other programs and initiatives through the division of Continuing Education. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, gardening, thrifting, kayaking, going out to eat, and spoiling her dog.
Stephanie Petersen is the Senior CRM Coordinator for Undergraduate Admissions. She primarily focuses on the management of the undergraduate admissions in the State (CRM). She has been with UWF for 10 months. Stephanie has 18 years of higher education experience in a variety of roles working for both community colleges and universities.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Geoff. She loves to travel and is always looking for her next travel adventure. She also loves to read, so send her any good book recommendations.
Carly Richards is the Senior Graphic Designer for the Office of Institutional Communications at UWF. Her key responsibilities include developing creative concepts and designs that support UWF's brand identity and strategic messaging. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and spending time with her six rescue dogs.
Kerrie Brock is the Office Administrator for Parking and Transportation services. She has been in the department for 11 years and in her current role for 4. Kerrie is responsible for overseeing office duties as well as the Event Parking system. Her hobbies include house plants and baking.
Heather Seitz is the Administrative Specialist for the Career Development & Community Engagement Department. She oversees the office and administrative operations for CDCE including front desk operations, fiscal responsibilities, social media, and essential business processes. When not having fun in CDCE she can often be found at the beach, traveling, or with friends and family.
Sandra Taylor is the Reporting Coordinator for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. She works with all areas of campus on the SACSCOC accreditation process and program assessments. Sandra has served on Staff Senate as a senator for 2 years and was elected to Supervisor of Elections in 2023. In her free time she is working on her Master's degree in Strategic Communication & Leadership and looks forward sunny Saturdays on the beach.
Rachael Treis earned a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Central Methodist University and a Master's of Education degree from UWF. She serves as an Academic Advisor in First Year Advising. She advises students in the Environmental Science and Biology related majors. Her other responsibilities include the coordination of advising services during New Student Orientation and Group Degree Planning. In her free time, she enjoys beekeeping, cross-stitching, and spending quality time with her family.
Stephanie Yancey serves as event coordinator for the Office of the President and writer and editor for Institutional Communications. In these roles, she plans and executes special events and writes and edits communications and marketing materials for the University of West Florida.
Stephanie earned a bachelor's degree in communication arts with an emphasis in public relations from UWF. Previously, she served as the sales marketing director at WEAR ABC 3 in Pensacola.
In her leisure time, Stephanie enjoys traveling with her son Bennett and supporting local animal rescue organizations.
