Meet the Staff LEAD Class of 2016-2017
Hello, my name is Aliya Brandon and I work as an Enrollment Specialist in Argo Central. I am originally from Miami and will be graduating this fall with my degree in Business Management. In my current position, I work directly with students assisting them with everything from admissions, financial aid, and registering for classes. I enjoy working at UWF because I get a chance to interact with students and I am also able to make a different in students’ lives every day. When I am not at work, I enjoy being involved at my church, volunteering at events on campus, and traveling.
Originally from Miami, Gabby moved from the busy big city to Pensacola in 2010 and hasn’t looked back since. The people and flurry of personalities are what Gabby loves most about her campus; UWF is her home, and the friends she has made as a student and employee are her family. Currently Gabby is CUTLA’s Administrative Specialist. When not at work, Gabby enjoys gardening, baking/cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and two cats. Gabby and her sister Steffy are extremely close and the two can often be found vacationing at Disney or trying new recipes in their kitchen.

I’ve been at UWF for over thirteen years and am currently the Student Records Coordinator in the Registrar’s Office. I love UWF’s natural environment and feel blessed to be able to work on such a beautiful, serene campus. I love spending time with my family watching movies – I think we quote more movie lines to each other than anybody. I also love history and am working on my MA. Someday when I retire, I hope to spend all of my time at the beach with my husband, hanging out with my grandkids and teaching history classes.
