Biography

I am proud to be a University of West Florida alumnus. I received my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2021 and my M.S. in Engineering in 2023. I am the faculty advisor for the UWF Battle Bots team on the Pensacola campus. During my time as an undergraduate student at UWF I’ve been part of projects such as the NASA Rover, ArgoTots and a research project funded by the NASA Florida Space Grant at Kennedy Space Center. During graduate school I was part of the IHMC team for the NADIA project and I started working for the ME department as a Teaching Graduate Assistant. I like to have a hands-on approach to my classes and give students the space to be creative and put in practice the skills they have learned in their classes through practical projects. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my puppy Paçoca, riding my motorcycle and traveling.
