Youth Programs

Youth Programs provide year-round opportunities for incoming Kindergarten through 12th-grade students to participate in innovative, interactive and transformative learning experiences. Designed to help expand interests and discover new strengths, each program has been structured to cultivate curiosity, leadership skills and a love for learning.

Explore Camps
Designed for incoming 1st - 12th graders, UWF Explore Camps provide an opportunity for kids to explore their creativity, challenge their minds and build new friendships. A mixture of STEAM-based academics plus a creative atmosphere results in one-of-a-kind summer camp experiences.

UWF's Marine Science Camp
Explore hands-on marine science learning this summer. This immersive camp connects students with coastal ecosystems. Developed in partnership with Autism Pensacola and supported by UWF's Center for Behavior Analysis, this program features high teacher-to-student ratios and autism-informed instruction to ensure every camper can learn and thrive.

 


UWF Nature trail bridge

Explore Trips
UWF Explore Trips and the UWF Living Lab invite fifth-grade students on an immersive, hands-on science exploration designed to bring key biological concepts to life. This two-hour experience takes students beyond the classroom and into nature, where they will explore, experiment and discover the fascinating adaptations of plants and animals in their environments.

Movement Academy
Movement Academy is a physical education program for children and adolescents in the surrounding area. Our mission is to offer a unique variety of physical experiences and opportunities while providing an invaluable teaching experience for UWF physical education students.
