CareerSource Florida connects job seekers to in-demand career training and employment opportunities at local businesses and organizations. From paid internships and apprenticeships to resume guidance, interviewing skills and job search support, these valuable services are available to job seekers at no cost. Special benefits are available for veterans and eligible spouses.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federally funded employment and training program distributed through CareerSource Florida designed to advance today’s workforce by connecting workers and job seekers with career training opportunities and access to high-quality jobs.

WIOA funding covers training expenses for in-demand regional occupations. Available services are based on need determination and include; tuition assistance (up to $7,000 per program), books allowance, uniforms/supplies and vocational guidance. To check for eligibility and apply for the WIOA grant, contact CareerSource Escarosa or CareerSource Okaloosa Walton.
