Tom Jewell

Biography

Tom oversees Commuter and Transfer Student Services and Family Programs areas. Commuter
and Transfer Student Services provides support and services that focus on UWF’s largest
population of students, those that do not reside on campus. Commuting students have access
to services such as a commuter lounge, lockers, and activities that are focused on the
challenges of the commuting student. Family Programs include event planning and
management, communication, Parent and Family Association recruitment, and monitoring of
social media platforms. Tom spends his time off campus enjoying the area’s waterways,
watering holes, restaurants, and maybe an hour or two of yard work.
