Mikia provides support for the following initiatives: ArgoFirst Living Community, Take Stock Collegiate Scholars, First-Generation Success Network, Argo Arrival, FSL, and other student engagement initiatives. Her professional passions and research interests include the areas of mental health/self-care, first-generation college students, and curriculum and assessment. In Mikia’s spare time, she is writing papers, enjoying time with family and friends, powerlifting, practicing yoga, trying out new recipes, or painting.
