Biography

Austin Scott serves as the Commuter Student Services Support Specialist in the Office of Student Engagement. He advises the Commuter Student Association and oversees the Commuter Hub, creating a welcoming "home away from home" for students. Austin is dedicated to planning and implementing events and programs that encourage commuter students to engage in campus activities and feel connected to university life. As a proud commuter student alumnus, Austin leverages his own experiences and extensive campus involvement to support and guide commuter students in achieving their personal and academic goals. Outside of work, Austin is an extrovert who thrives in social atmospheres. He enjoys hanging out with friends, attending social events, staying up to date on social media, and doing realism portrait sketches.

Austin holds two degrees from the University of West Florida and is dedicated to enhancing the commuter student experience at his alma mater.
