Memberships and Services

Guest Passes can be purchased at the Rec Customer Service Desk for $8.60/per day.

All guests must:

• Be 16 years of age or older and must have a form of picture ID
• Sign the Rec Facility release of liability before entering the facility

Guests under 16 years of age

• Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult member in all areas
• Children under 16 are not allowed to use the Fitness Center

Guests under five years of age

• Any guest under the age of 5 years is permitted without a fee

Daily Admission

$5 per person/per visit

You may enter free of charge if You:

• Are a UWF Student and are currently attending classes.
• Are entering the facility as an aide to a person with a disability.
• You are 2 years or younger.

Aquatic Membership Policy

• Calendar month memberships are valid from the 1st day of the calendar month through the last day of the calendar month.
• 60+ Memberships are sold to individuals or spouses who are both 60 years or older, not to include additional dependents.
• UWF will make every effort to offer multiple and convenient lap swim time blocks, however, membership purchase does not guarantee the swim schedule will remain unchanged throughout the membership period. The facility is subject to closure for special events, maintenance, and training.
• Effective September 2024, extensions of membership will be issued when an extended, unexpected closure arises during the first seven days of the membership period.
• ​​UWF Aquatic Center supervisors and lifeguards have the authority to ensure a safe pool environment, enforce all university pool use guidelines, and respond to emergencies. This authority includes restricting patrons' use for those not complying with pool use guidelines. Pool staff may also eject patrons whose behavior is deemed unsafe or disruptive to others.
• Recreation and Wellness reserves the right to suspend memberships for inappropriate behavior. Continued and purposeful rule-breaking may result in the termination of membership and/or facility use with no refund. As a university patron, you will be expected to abide by all university rules and regulations.
• UWF does not provide insurance coverage, and individuals who participate in recreational activities do so at their own risk.

Age Restrictions

• Visitors 16 years or older may access the facility without an adult; an ID is required to provide proof of age.
• Persons under 16 years old must be accompanied by someone who is at least 18 years old.
• 18-21 year olds can only supervise a maximum of two under-aged swimmers.
• Visitors must be at least 16 years old to enter the sauna and whirlpool area.

• University scheduled activities take precedence.
• Motor vehicles are prohibited.
• Tobacco, vaping, alcohol and drugs of any kind on the fields are prohibited.
• Pets are prohibited.
• While on the UWF campus, you will be expected to abide by all university policies and guidelines.
• Inappropriate behavior may result in the termination of facility use with no refund.
