Bike Programs

The bike program offers services, equipment, and programming to all current UWF students. Bring your active Nautilus Card to the Bike Shop in Building 209, Room 3 during our open hours.

Protect your bike from theft, secure it with a U-lock.

U-locks are available for FREE (while supplies last) to current students at the Bike Shop and the Rec Center, located in the Health, Leisure and Sports Facility (HLS). Present a valid Nautilus Card to receive a lock. U-locks are also available for purchase by UWF non-student members.

Please note: The Bike Shop does not specialize in electric bikes or scooters. We’re happy to take a look, but for electric-related issues, we recommend visiting a shop that focuses on electric models.

Yellow Bike

The Yellow Bike program offers a great way for participants to get a simple, campus-friendly commuting bike. Each bike starts as a well-loved donation in need of a little TLC. Participants can either restore the bike themselves with guidance from our Bike Shop Attendants or choose a bike that’s already been refurbished by our team. Once complete, the bike is yours to keep!

Program Options:

  • Participant Built—$25 UWF students, faculty and staff only (18+)
Participants receive a donated bike and sun yellow spray paint to transform it into a personalized ride. Our Bike Shop Attendants will assist throughout the entire refurbishing process. Please note: the Bike Shop may reclaim Yellow Bikes that remain inactive for more than two semesters.
  • Prebuilt Option—$60 for students/$85 for all non-students
Choose from a selection of fully refurbished, painted and tuned-up Yellow Bikes (while supplies last).

Additional Details:
Each Yellow Bike comes with a U-lock (while supplies last). Limit one bike per participant.
