Graduation Guide

This is a resource for upcoming UWF graduates or alumni. It contains information on applying to graduate, commencement, awarding degrees, degree verify, etc.

Prior to completing a Graduation Application, students should consult with their academic advisors, check their Degree Audits, and reference the appropriate Academic Catalog to make sure all graduation requirements are met.

Degrees are awarded at the end of each semester, upon completion of all departmental and university requirements.

Commencement Information

Commencement ceremonies are held twice a year; at the end of the Spring and Fall semesters. All students who have applied to receive a Bachelor’s or Graduate level degree are encouraged to participate.

The University of West Florida has partnered with The National Student Clearinghouse to provide students with a more efficient and cost-effective process for degree verification and confirmation of past attendance.
