Earth Scholars
Program Overview
Earth Scholars is a student engagement program designed to enhance student-learning experiences.
The goals of the program are to:
- Increase student involvement in research and volunteer opportunities
- Disseminate information such as career advice and internships / jobs
- Peer-to-peer mentoring with Earth and Environmental Sciences faculty and students
Requirements:
- GPA: 2.7 or above
- Earth and Environmental Sciences major (no minimum hours in program required)
You must attend:
- Earth Scholars/Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU) meetings (2 per semester)
- Professional Development Programs (2-3 per year)
- Volunteer or Research Projects (2-3 per year)
