Scholarships


The following is a partial list of scholarships available for UWF Earth and Environmental Science students. Note that receipt of a scholarship may impact your financial aid, so please check with the financial aid office before applying.

Environmental Steward Scholarship Full-time students with a competitive GPA majoring in Environmental Studies or any physical science. Both graduates and undergraduates will be considered. Awarded by the Coastal Plains Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA). $1000 per year
HMCSE Graduate Assistantships The Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering offers assistantships to graduate students in good standing who take at least 6 credit hours per semester. Positions are competitive. Up to $14,000 for a 12-month appointment and a tuition waiver for up to 9 credit hours.
NWFAEP Scholarship Northwest Florida Association of Environmental Professionals (NWFAEP) is awarding one (1) scholarship to a student interested in pursuing an environmental-related career.  Minimum 3.0 GPA.  $750
