Composition and Rhetoric Symposium

The Composition and Rhetoric Program's Inaugural Composition and Rhetoric Symposium was held on Friday, February 22, from noon till 3:30 p.m. The guest speakers were Dr. Heidi McKee, who presented "Changing Outcomes, Changing Assessment: The Challenges and Opportunities of Digital Writing," and Dr. Charles Paine, who conducted a 90-minute faculty workshop on teaching genre writing. Writing Today, which Dr. Paine co-authored, is the Composition and Rhetoric Program's required ENC 1102 text.
