Dr. Bre Garrett

Dr. Bre Garrett publishes two recent articles.

In The Writing Studio Sampler, her chapter, "Studio Bricolage: Inventing Writing Studio Pedagogy for Local Contexts," is about how writing studio designers must serve as bricoleurs.

In "Hacking the Curriculum, Disabling Composition Pedagogy: The Affordances of Writing Studio Design," Dr. Garrett argues "that teachers and WPAs can 'hack' standard curricular spaces and institute more inclusive writing pedagogies," demonstrating, "how the studio approach promotes writers’ interdependence, out of which develops writer agency and confidence."
