What do you enjoy most about working with students?

I enjoy learning about the unique background of every student and working with them to use their experiences, skills, and interests to receive the most out of their college experience. Watching a student overcome a struggle or achieve a goal is extremely rewarding.

What is your favorite quote?

Ships don't sink because of the water around them; ships sink because of the water that gets inside.

What are your favorite activities outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, snorkeling, and hanging out with my dog, James. 

What advice would you like to give new students?

Do not be afraid to ask for help. There are so many resources on campus and in the community available to assist, all you need to do is ask!
