Biography

I am happy and grateful to be working as a counselor at UWF’s Counseling and Psychological Services. I earned both my graduate and undergraduate degrees at UWF and completed my clinical internship at CAPS in 2005. After graduation, I worked in various settings, providing services to children and adolescents, adults, geriatric clients, and military service members and their families.  In 2018, I returned to CAPS as a licensed staff member. I have a passion for working with college students due to both the opportunities and challenges that are often present in this stage of development. I enjoy working with students as they develop their identities, adjust to independence, learn new skills for approaching life and relationships, heal from the past and make decisions about their future goals.
