UWF Hand to Paw Project
| The University of West Florida Staff Senate will launch its Fifth Annual Hand to Paw Project September 14. The purpose of this project is to collect material and financial donations across UWF campuses and Pensacola in support of the Humane Society of Pensacola, a no-kill animal shelter http://humanesocietyofpensacola.org/, and the Humane Society and Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in Fort Walton Beach http://www.paws-shelter.com/ . All material donations such as canned and dry pet foods, pet supplies, office supplies, medical supplies, cleaning supplies etc. can be placed in decorated Hand to Paw boxes located in buildings across UWF campuses from mid-September through October. |
