About Us
Welcome to the UWF School of Nursing! We are located in Building 37 on the Pensacola campus.
Here you will find dedicated staff and faculty that will advise and assist you every step of the way in your program - from the application process, through your theory and clinical classes and in your final preparation for the NCLEX licensure exam.
What makes our prelicensure program unique? We only admit 50 students three times a year. That means you will be part of a small, select group working closely with faculty that follow you through that year with dedicated personal attention. Clinical groups are team taught with access to two or three faculty members for most classes.
The pass rate of our students taking the NCLEX is one of the highest in the state of Florida.
The baccalaureate degree in nursing/master's degree in nursing at UWF is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
