A Minor in Sociology pairs well with any field as Sociology is the study of people, groups, social issues, and the consequences of human behavior. As a course of study, Sociology seeks to understand and account for the complexities of human interaction and patterns of social life.
Our classes focus on relations among classes, cultures, institutions, and social structures. Sociologists scientifically explore and analyze issues that are vital to our personal lives, our communities, our society, and the world.
Program Requirements
Students must demonstrate their command of and competence in sociology by successfully completing four 2000/4000 level courses from the approved list and one advisor-approved Social Science course from a related discipline.
